The INNMAP Model

The INNMAP Model

1. The INNMAP Model – Patients-GI

At INNMAP, we understand that digestive problems often have more than one cause. Stress,
food sensitivities, microbiome imbalance, inflammation, hormones, and lifestyle can all play
a role. Many patients live for years with bloating, pain, constipation, diarrhea, or fatigue with
all the tests appearing to be normal – without receiving clear answers.

Our approach is different.

We look at the full picture — not only the symptoms.

INNMAP combines:
● Advanced laboratory testing (microbiome, gut barrier, inflammation)
● Personalized nutrition
● Genetic and metabolic insights
● Holistic lifestyle review
● Expert medical interpretation

This allows us to understand why you feel the way you feel and what your gut needs to heal.

Our goal is simple:

to give you a clear explanation of your symptoms and a personalized plan that finally works.

2. Biomarkers -what are they?

Digestive symptoms can come from many sources. These are the main areas we check:

🔵 Calprotectin – “Is there inflammation?”
Shows if there is irritation in the gut. Helps differentiate IBS from more serious conditions.

🟢 Secretory IgA (sIgA) – “How strong is your gut immunity?”
Tells us how your immune system responds to foods, stress, and bacteria.

🥗 IgA Food Panel:
Identifies immediate or mucosal immune reactions to foods — useful when symptoms
appear quickly after eating (bloating, cramps, skin reactions).

🟠 Zonulin – “Is your gut barrier leaking?”
Helps identify increased intestinal permeability (“leaky gut”), which may lead to bloating,
sensitivities, and inflammation.

🟡 Pancreatic elastase – “Are you digesting food properly?”
Shows whether the pancreas produces enough enzymes.

🟣 Microbiome profile – “Who lives in your gut?”
We look at:
● Good bacteria
● Overgrowths
● Missing beneficial species
● Yeast
● Balance between different bacterial groups

This helps explain bloating, irregular bowel movements, pain, and food intolerance.

🟤 Short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs)
These are produced by good bacteria and help protect the gut, reduce inflammation, and
support immunity.

Bile acids
Important for fat digestion. Imbalances can cause diarrhea or constipation.

🔬 DNA Gut or genetics
Shows if you have genetic tendencies toward:
● food sensitivities
● inflammation
● microbiome imbalance
● difficulty breaking down certain nutrients

🥗 IgG Food Sensitivity Panel – “Delayed food reactions”
This test helps identify delayed immune responses (IgG antibodies) to foods.
These reactions:
● appear hours to days after eating,
● can cause bloating, headaches, fatigue, skin issues, joint pain, and IBS-like symptoms,
● are often hard to detect without testing.

It does not diagnose allergies — instead, it helps us understand which foods may be
causing low-grade inflammation or overload for your system.

3. INNMAP Diagnostic Philosophy

“Why don’t my symptoms show up on regular tests?”

Many digestive problems are functional — meaning symptoms are real, but routine tests are
often normal.

We go deeper.

INNMAP combines 4 layers of information (once you are after all the conventional tests and
gastroenterologist examination):

Symptoms – how you feel day-to-day
Your history – medical background, family medical history, habits, environment.
Biomarkers – what your gut and immune system show
Microbiome – the bacterial environment that affects digestion, mood, metabolism
Lifestyle & environment – stress, sleep, diet, toxins, hormones

Together, these give us a full picture so we can treat the root cause, not just the symptoms.
